Forgive me if you have seen this, but I have much catching up to do. En tout cas, PROSPECT magazine asked its readers to vote for leading public intellectuals. Thanksgiving

May all who read this enjoy a blessed and peaceful Thanksgiving. It has been an eventful Autumn, to say the least, having been a victim of Hurricane Katrina. I hope to back in regular correspondence after year end.
