While Rome Burns
One used to see comparisons between the decline of the Roman Empire and the United States discussed much more often than one typically sees them today. Perhaps the truth is so common that no comment is required. But every once in a while something so appallingly over the top is seen that the comparison seems to be the only meaningful response. When reading this food review from the LATimes, try to keep faces of starving children out of your head.
